Sea Otters & Open Ocean Feeding | WEEK 75

We spent most of the day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and were able to explore so much, including the sea otters, octopus, open sea feeding, and the cuttlefish! One of my favorites to see at any aquarium is always the sea otters. Ask Faith what her favorite part of the aquarium is and she would agree. The feeding at the Open Sea exhibit was like nothing we have ever seen before. The sardines moving in unison are just incredible. There were also sunfish and dolphin fish which are really unique to watch. The Tentacles and Viva Baja exhibit were also on display.

We had a blast exploring the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the kids just can’t stop talking about the things they learned there. Thanks, Picazo family for letting us join you on your adventure!

MAMMOTH GONDOLA
Scenic Gondola Ride at Mammoth Mountain

Highlight of our trip to Mammoth this Summer, the cherry on top, was taking the gondola up to the top of Mammoth Mountain. The panoramic gondolas give you a 360 degree view all the way up the mountain. When you get to the top, you walk out to an 11053 ft. view of Mammoth Lakes and the surrounding areas. At the summit, you can see the valley open up, the lakes below, and the mountains around. We also checked out the Eleven 53 Interpretive Center and ate on top of the world at the Eleven53 Cafe. Over and over, we would suggest this experience for you and your family. While a bit pricey, the Gondola at Mammoth Mountain did not disappoint. Thanks for stopping by,
